Quranic Food Atlas

An atlas of foods, drinks, plants, and meanings mentioned in the Quran — explored by type of mention, role, and guidance.

الطَّيِّبَات

Al-Baqarah 2:172

Introduction

The Quran mentions dozens of foods, drinks, plants, and fruits — not as a recipe book, but as signs that point to the Creator's care. This library gathers them with their verses, context, and a quiet reflection for each, so you can read food the way the Quran reads it.

Healthy beginnings from The Good Food

This is not an absolute “best foods” ranking. It is a set of strong starting points for understanding The Good Food through health and Quranic reflection: water for life, natural energy, building protein, beneficial fats, and foods that open the door to gratitude and reflection. The Good Food is not built on one food, but on balance, diversity, and moderation.

These foods are not a complete diet and not a medical protocol. The Good Food is built on balance, diversity, moderation, and personal suitability.
